The Brief
This cinema advertisement was created for Tokio Marine to communicate personal accident insurance with the younger generation cinema goers. Designed specifically for the big screen, the animation needed to capture attention quickly while remaining clear and emotionally accessible to a broad audience.

The Project
We developed this video using a clean 2D style with outlined characters and minimal shading. The characters featured in the ad were fully designed by our internal team and are part of an established visual system that Tokio Marine has used in previous campaigns. Maintaining this continuity was important in reinforcing brand recognition and familiarity.

We created the narrative to be of light humor. Client wanted us to show the unpredictability of everyday life. Unexpected events unfold in quick succession, creating moments that feel relatable rather than generic.

From a storytelling perspective, the animation avoids technical explanations. Instead, it focuses on situations viewers can immediately recognize.
The project followed a full production pipeline, including character development, scriptwriting, storyboard creation, animation, and post-production. The final output was optimized for Cinema screening.

The result is a faced pace animated video that grabs the Cinema’s audience with a gentle sense of humor. One of our favorite ways of promoting a product. Indirect yet strong!
